Hi, I'm KINCADE,

For me, hairstyling has never been simply about making hair look good. It has always been about understanding the hair, protecting its integrity, educating my clients, and creating an experience where healthy hair comes first.

I am Monique Kincade, Master Cosmetologist, healthy hair specialist, entrepreneur, and proud Paul Mitchell graduate with more than two decades of experience in the beauty industry.

My journey behind the chair began with an education from Paul Mitchell, but what followed became much bigger than I could have imagined. Over the years, I built my reputation by specializing in healthy hair care, Silk Press services, hair extensions, and customized solutions designed around the individual needs of each client's hair.

But in 2021, I made a decision that surprised a lot of people: I stepped away from behind the chair.

Not because I stopped loving the beauty industry.

I stepped away because I wanted to grow.

During my time away, I challenged myself academically and professionally, expanding my education beyond cosmetology into business, leadership, and healthcare.

I went back to school, earned additional degrees, and ultimately completed both my Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

That journey changed the way I think about business, professionalism, education, client care, and the responsibility that comes with serving people. And after accomplishing what I set out to accomplish academically, something became very clear:

I still loved doing hair.

So I returned — but I didn't return as the same stylist who left. I came back with the experience of a veteran cosmetologist, the education of a graduate-level professional, the perspective of an entrepreneur, and an even deeper commitment to creating a salon experience centered around healthy hair.

There is something special about beginning my career as a Paul Mitchell graduate and returning years later to build KINCADE around many of the same professional principles and products that were part of my foundation.

Today, Paul Mitchell serves as the core professional hair-care system used at KINCADE.

For me, it isn't simply about carrying a product line. It's about choosing professional products that complement the way I approach hair care: intentionally, consistently, and with the long-term health of the hair in mind.

KINCADE represents everything I've learned throughout my career — behind the chair, in business, and through higher education.

My specialty is healthy hair, with services including Silk Press, Microlinks, customized professional treatments, and Peter Coppola Keratin Smoothing Treatments.

Every client is different. Every head of hair has a history. And every service should begin with understanding what that hair actually needs.

I don't believe in simply styling the hair and sending you on your way.

I believe in healthy hair first.

I believe clients deserve education.

I believe professionalism matters.

I believe your appointment should feel personal — not rushed, overbooked, or treated like an assembly line.

And I believe beautiful results mean even more when the hair underneath is thriving.

This isn't me starting over.

This is me returning to what I love — with more experience, more education, more knowledge, and a completely different vision for what the salon experience should be.
